We are addicted to our thoughts

“We are addicted to our thoughts. We cannot change anything if we cannot change our thinking.” ― Santosh Kalwar

When I first read this quote from Santos Kalwar , it led me to think about Robert Frost’s famous poem, “The Road not Taken”, so often quoted that it’s almost a cliche. This poem reminded me of two choices that lie ahead of a person.  As explained in the poem, both pathways looked equally beneficial and seemed to be hard to identify as the better one. At some point in our lives we come to a cross road. Choosing a long route and a short route, we find ourselves in a confusing predicament. In reality, some people just choose at random without thinking twice. But other people worry and ponder which road to take.

“Wake up is the best way to make your dreams come true”. In life we need to make wise decisions in order to achieve our dreams by changing the way we think.

For now, I would submit these wise words of Frost and Kalwar for my reflection.
